About This Service

Celebrating something special in Tuscany? Create an unforgettable experience for your group with this unique combination of yoga practice and guided wine tasting: wine and yoga in the one place they truly belong, the Tuscan hills.

The experience begins with 60-90 minutes of yoga: a flowing, joyful practice designed to bring your group together, release tension, and set the perfect mood for celebration. Whether you're complete beginners or seasoned practitioners, I'll tailor the session to your group. A grounded body and a calm, present mind also happen to be exactly the state a sommelier wants you in before a tasting.

What the tasting involves: after the yoga, you're guided through three to five Tuscan wines in sequence. I'll show you how to read a wine (its colour, its aromas, how it changes in the glass and on the palate) and tell you the story of where it comes from: the grape, the hillside, the producer. Bread, local cheeses and seasonal nibbles cleanse the palate between wines. It's taught, not just tasted, which is why guests who don't drink can still take a full part.

As a certified AIS sommelier (Associazione Italiana Sommelier) as well as a yoga teacher, I guide the tasting and help the wines make sense for your group and the occasion: from the legendary Super Tuscans of Bolgheri to a structured Terre di Pisa red, or hidden gems from small family producers in the Lucca hills. You'll leave knowing more about wine than when you arrived.

Looking for a yoga and wine retreat? This half-day is the heart of it. For a longer stay, I weave the same practice and tasting into a multi-day bespoke retreat in Tuscany: same philosophy, more time to settle in.

Perfect for hen parties, milestone birthdays, wedding celebrations, or any gathering of friends wanting something beyond the ordinary. Hosted at a winery, agriturismo or your hotel across the Pisan hills, Versilia and Lucca.

Frequently asked

How is a wine and yoga experience different from an ordinary wine tasting?
The yoga comes first: 60-90 minutes of gentle practice that settles the group and sharpens the senses, which is genuinely the ideal state for tasting. Then the wine tasting is taught, not just poured: you learn how to read each wine and where it comes from. It's a shared experience for the whole group rather than a transaction.
Do you offer a yoga and wine retreat?
The experience itself is a half-day (2.5–4 hours). If you'd like it woven into a longer stay, I build the same practice and tasting into a multi-day bespoke retreat in Tuscany: small, personal, and Tuscany-based.
Does everyone have to drink wine?
No. Because the tasting is the teaching, guests who don't drink, for any reason, can take a full part in the experience. Non-alcoholic alternatives can be arranged on request, just let me know in advance.
Do we need any yoga experience?
None at all. The practice is tailored to the group, so complete beginners and seasoned practitioners are equally welcome. The point is the shared experience, not the poses.
Where does the experience take place?
At any venue licensed to serve wine and happy to host a guided tasting: a winery, an agriturismo, or your hotel. The venue provides and serves the wine under its own licence, while I lead the yoga and guide the tasting as an AIS sommelier. Tell me where you're based across the Pisan hills, Lucca or the Versilia coast and I'll either confirm your venue works or suggest wineries and agriturismi I already work with. Private villa rentals usually aren't licensed to serve alcohol, so in that case we'll hold the tasting at a nearby winery.
How many people, and how much does it cost?
Groups of 4–12, from €50 per person for the yoga and guided tasting. The wine and venue are arranged and paid separately; the total also depends on group size and any add-ons (a long lunch, transport). Tell me about your group and I'll send a full quote within 24 hours.
Which wines will we taste?
Three to five Tuscan wines chosen for your group: perhaps Super Tuscans from Bolgheri, a Terre di Pisa red, or whites and reds from small Lucca producers. As an AIS sommelier I match the selection to your tastes and the occasion.
